The Chesapeake Bay Area Exoplanet Meeting brings together all lovers of exoplanets and related science from the DC area and beyond. This series of one-day meetings enable the sharing of ideas in an informal setting with the focus being on building collaborations and expertise.
CHEXO meetings are held at locations in DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. The next meeting will be hosted by the JHU Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD.

The 12th instantiation of the Chesapeake Bay Area Exoplanets (CHEXO) Meeting will be held at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, MD on December 5th 2025. This one-day workshop will provide a mixed sequence of (1) talks and (2) fun, exploratory conversations. Coffee and tea will abound the location as liquid companions for our exoplanet-y human colleagues.
We invite you to submit a brief (< 200 words) abstract for a 10 - 15 minute talk. We will do our best to select a range of scientific topics and a range of speakers of different career stages and institutions.
Please note that when registration opens, APL will require additional information from non-US citizens. We will request that information separately after you have registered.

CHEXO #12 will be held at APL in Building 201, located at 11091 Johns Hopkins Rd, Laurel MD 20723. The meeting will be held in the first floor auditorium, which is opposite the security desks, on the right if you enter the building from the south.
Parking is free, but we recommend parking in the lot south of the building. We encourage folks to carpool (there is a #carpool channel on the CHEXO Slack).
